This project is from Developer Muttsang. Here is a heads up for the current status of the MNP-22 semi-auto pistol build going into Beta at Black Lotus Coalition and the Archive! The intent of this project is to provide a more refined, longer lasting semi-auto .22lr pistol build that is closer to a standard sized pistol. It incorporates several steel components for a longer life. There will be 2 versions of the design though. One will contain more steel parts to achieve maximum durability and another will include more 3D printed components that can be replaced as needed. The intent is that a mill/lathe will not be required for this build but a bandsaw, drill press, dremel, metal files, 3d printer, drill bits, taps are recommended.
DXF files will be provided for outsourcing of metal bits Design includes a printed magazine, fixed barrel, trigger and out of battery safety. There are 3d printed templates/guides along with 1:1 scale paper printed templates for cutting out parts. Designs will allow use of either the Redman liners or the Chazel liner. A 12mm barrel will also be an option that allows for ECM rifling.
The MnP22 uses proprietary machined parts, that must be made
