The HW4 Mega Pistol is a 40 round, 22 Short caliber semi- automatic pistol, fed by means of a large revolving magazine
The magazine is indexed, upon firing, by angled surfaces on both the guide rod, and bolt face, pushing against matching angled surfaces on the ring
It is striker fired, has a series of ejectors built into each slot of the magazine ring, and no extractor
The trigger is a rather clever design that provides good tactile feel both in the relatively light trigger pull, a s well a s the reset
Takedown and disassembly is completely toolless for basic field stripping, and the firing pin can push all pins out of the frame and slide for full disassembly
There are no irons sights, rather having space for a micro red dot picatinny mount
This is an advanced build, but it has excellent documentation, including a 60 page full color guide with photos.
Rods:
– 1/16 in. diameter – Steel Rod – at least 2 in. length
– 3/32 in. diameter – Steel Rod – at least 1 ft. length
– 5/32 in. / 4mm diameter – Aluminum Rod – at least 6 in. length
– – Or Steel – this depends on how you build the striker
Other:
– 5/16 in. diameter 22 Cal. Barrel Liner – Can be found here: :
– 1/2 in. thickness, Aluminum Square Stock – at least 6 in. length – – The 6 in. length is only to have extra/spare material
