  • Are your hardware kits legal to purchase?

    • None of the individual items in these kits have shipping restrictions within the US. The legality of purchasing and using our hardware kits depends on your location and local regulations. We encourage customers to research and comply with all relevant laws and regulations regarding firearm assembly and ownership in their area.
  • Can I use your hardware kits with any 3D printed firearm design?

    • Our kits are designed to be compatible with specific 3D printed firearm designs. Please refer to the product description for compatibility information.
  • Do I need any special tools to assemble the hardware kit?

    • Basic tools such as files, punches, wrenches, screwdrivers, allen keys may be required to assemble the hardware kit. Please refer to the build guide included with the files for specific tool requirements.
  • Are there any age restrictions for purchasing your hardware kits?
    • Yes, you must be of legal age to purchase and own firearms in your location to purchase and use our hardware kits. Age requirements may vary depending on local laws and regulations. We recommend verifying your local regulations before purchasing.
  • How do I ensure that the assembled firearm is safe to use?

    • We strongly recommend having the assembled firearm inspected by a qualified professional to ensure it is safe to use.
  • Can I return or exchange the hardware kit if I change my mind?

    • Returns and exchanges are subject to our store policies. Please refer to our returns policy for details on eligibility and procedures. Custom or opened kits may have different return conditions.
  • What should I do if a part is missing or defective?

    • If you receive a hardware kit with missing or defective parts, please contact us as soon as possible. We will assist you in resolving the issue and provide replacements if necessary.
  • How should I store and maintain the hardware components?

    • Hardware components should be stored in a dry, cool place to prevent rust and deterioration. Regular maintenance checks are recommended to ensure all parts remain in good working condition. Surface rust may appear on some items. A light coat of oil and scrub with steel wool will clean that up.
  • Can I get support if I have trouble assembling the kit?

    • While Print-a-22 is not a gun smith, we can provide basic assistance with assembly. We can also provide online resources, including tutorials and FAQs, to help guide you. The best place to get build support is from the group that designed the build you’re working on!
  • Do you offer international shipping?

    • Currently we only offer domestic shipping within the United States. We hope to be able to offer international shipping in the future.
  • Are there any restrictions on shipping hardware kits to certain locations?

    • Yes. My payment processor has placed restrictions on certain states. If you can’t use ‘2a friendly payments’ chances are you’re in one of those states. I’ve done my best to offer a payment alternative for more restrictive states.
  • What materials are your hardware components made of?

    • The exact hardware used is listed on each kits product listing. I like stainless steel and titanium, and try to use them where applicable.
  • Can I modify the components in the hardware kit?

    • While some modifications might be possible, we recommend using the components as intended to ensure safety and functionality. Modifying parts may affect the performance and safety of the firearm. With that said, some parts may need some manual fitment during assembly.
  • How do I contact customer support?

    • The best way to reach us is via messenger, either in the bottom corner of the website, or via Facebook. You can also message via the contact page, or email us directly at admin at print-a-22.com

  • Why does the bullet only fit in one end of the barrel? Is my barrel defective?
    • No, this is as intended. The end the bullet fits in is the chamber, which is manually cut into each barrel liner. Make sure the chamber is installed at the correct side during installation
  • Where do I get files?
    • Odysee is the primary host of 3d2a files. I link to the file on build pages, so if you can’t find it directly on Odysee, check the build section of this site.
